The 10,000-nit figure is a peak brightness claim for small areas of the screen, not what you'll see across a whole page in daylight. GSMArena's listing puts the phone at 233 g and 8.6 mm thick, so the big battery doesn't come free.

ARRI makes the Alexa cinema cameras used on many films, and this phone carries its logo on the camera module. Honor's announcement says "regional rollouts across Europe, MEA, SEA and other key international markets will be announced shortly." MEA is the Middle East and Africa, and SEA is Southeast Asia. 9to5Google notes there's no reason to expect the phone in the US, and Honor's list doesn't include it.
Latin America isn't named, but Honor does sell flagships there. Last year's Magic8 Pro went on sale in Mexico on April 30, 2026, at 31,999 pesos for 12 GB and 512 GB, according to Xataka México. That suggests a Latin American release is possible but months away, and nothing about the Magic 9 Pro Max's timing or price there is confirmed.
